Rescue Me ID: 16-12-02-00294Benny (male)

Bull Terrier    Age: Puppy

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Benny came to rescue when a good Samaritan saw a man dump him with a female rottie, after beating them with a belt. He has been great with all dogs he has met, and may also be OK with cats but has expressed an interest in chasing rabbits. He is good with small kids and a sweet, manageable young dog.

Bull Terrier    Age: Young Adult

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Heartworm Positive

Miles is a 4 - 5 year old male who was dumped at a school in the Houston area. The Dean was feeding him until the Thanksgiving holidays when she contacted us because the school would be closed for a week and she was worried no one would feed him. Everyone who has come in contact with him says he is just the sweetest boy. He is on the thin side and has some flea dermatitis but we will have him looking fabulous in no time. He is unfortunately heartworm positive, however treatment is provided by rescue at no cost to adopter.

Bull Terrier    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Heartworm Positive

Flo (also known as Sox) is very gentle for a bullie (taking treats, sitting to have leash put on etc), is not 'mouthy' and is doing well in a home with young kids. She walks fairly well on leash and enjoys rolling in the wet grass on early morning walks! She does get excited at first when she sees other dogs but soon settles down to continue her walk. NO CATS or small furries! She has begun the pre-meds for her heartworm treatment. Heartworm treatment is done by rescue at no cost to adopter.

Rescue Me ID: 16-08-22-00377Elizabeth (female)

Bull Terrier    Age: Puppy

Personality: High Energy
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Busy Lizzie is an excessively happy dog without a grouchy bone in her body! She is living with Pegg and her 10 year old male BT, and has done well with several other female fosters who have passed through Pegg's home. She can be a bit of a pest and will need an understanding home (and a well matched doggy friend). Pegg thinks she is a delight and is perfectly happy to hold onto her until the right home comes along.

Rescue Me ID: 16-07-29-00319Phoebe (female)

Bull Terrier    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Cats
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Phoebe is 3 years old, spayed and UTD on vetting. She is looking for a new home through no fault of her own, due to her owner's financial difficulties. She is very sweet and loves people! She has a lot of energy, but settles down after exercise. She lived previously with a male Basset Hound but is not good with cats. Phoebe gets nervous during thunderstorms. She walks fairly well on leash but has been known to jump up and nip.
